Our six research-basedMathematics Intervention Packages include all the materials you need to help students boost performance and meet AYP. These comprehensive programs are complete with targeted instruction and practice, and many assessment opportunities.
Finish Line Math: Aligned with the NCTM standards, these workbooks follow a proven format of instruction. They offer plenty of practice, including short and extended constructed response questions that are commonly found on most state assessments.
Mathematics for Application and Instruction (MAI): These tests are for pre- and post-instruction. As a pre-test it targets needed instruction with a complete skill analysis. The post-test will ensure students have mastered the skills taught. These assessments are directly aligned to the NCTM standards.
Mathematics Assessment Preparation (MAP): Used to support on-going assessment, this test includes multiple choice, and short and extended constructed response questions found on most state assessments.
Teacher's Guides: These guides provide detailed instructional models, teacher strategies, scoring rubrics, record sheets, skill analysis charts, and instructions on administering tests and interpreting results.
Pacing Charts & Teacher's Notes: The Pacing Chart provides a 20-session schedule for the program that can be easily adjusted depending on length and daily instruction per week. Teacher's Notes offer suggested tips for using Finish Line Math and MAI, and include sequencing and methodology of the program.
