PSSA Grade 11 Finish Line Reading plus Writing

Give students the instruction, practice, and reinforcement they need to take on the PSSA! PSSA Grade 11 Finish Line Reading plus Writing  features standard-specific lessons that guide students through the Pennsylvania Reading Assessment Anchors and Eligible Content and the Academic Standards for Writing.

Each lesson provides research-based instruction in three parts:

Part 1: Introduction to the Skill

Reinforce the skills using an instructional overview.

Part 2: Guided Practice

Students form a deep understanding of each skill using a unique guided practice approach, complete with explanations of right and wrong answer choices. In addition to answering multiple-choice questions, students will practice writing answers to open-ended questions and writing prompts.

Part 3: Test Yourself

Students put their knowledge to the test, answering multiple-choice and open-ended questions independently. Writing practice focuses on the PA Academic Standards.
